This film should have been a hit!

This is the sort of film I admire , the direction , the cinematography , the music , the acting and the originality but it flopped at the French box office. Why?...Because today audience has lost the child in themselves,I got the feeling that if this was released in the early 90s , it would have performed much better.The truth is parents don't want to seat trough 90 minutes of watching children acting like adults a la Bugsy Malone, they rather take their kids to the latest CGI film,its a sad truth. But for those with an open mind who are willing to give this film a chance , they will fall under the charm of this little film.Its fascinating how these children can carry this film,they give a wonderful job and they are having the time of their life.The real star of the film is the director , what a courageous man to have to make this sort of film.The DVD doc gave me tons of respect for him because directing so many children at once is not an easy job.I hope that people are gonna buy the DVD and give this charming film a chance,there are even English sub on the DVD.I give this film 8 out of 10 because it left me with a big smile on my face.
