Sweet family anime-Ah!Megami-sama-sorezore no tsubasa(Ah! MY goddess-each wing)

Well,I saw it,or what has appeared of the series. And I like it.As one friend of mine said: " It's a series for the whole family".And it is. The story is quite fun,and every show you see brings back in your heart some warmth. From the first series the characters haven't evolved too much, but as an advice: watch the "Ah! My goddess" series and then this series, and after that watch the Ah! MY goddess movie. You will understand a lot of things. With fun moments, the adventures of Belldandy and Keiichi, along with Skuld,Belldandy's little sister and Urd,the warm hearted stepsister of Belldandy, the adventures continue on an interesting line.New characters emerge, like Urd,s real mother and true love.Yes,the series is in a way repetitive, but not in a way that it bothers you,but more like...it brings a hidden side of familiarity to the series.I truly recommend the series even if you are a fan of shoujo or shounen anime.

Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy
Tweekums2 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Keiichi and Belldandy are back for another series along with Belldandy's sisters Urd and Skuld. For those who haven't seen the first series Belldandy is a goddess who appeared to college student Keiichi and offered to grant him one wish; he wished that she would stay with him! The demon Marller is also back and she continues to try to end Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship. There are other problems for them too; Marller invites Hild, Urd's mother and ruler of demon kind to Earth and Goddess Peorth is accidentally summoned by Keiicchi and insists on granting another with despite his protestations that he has everything he wants.

While there is some dramatic tension this series remains a gentle comedy at heart. In many ways this series can be seen as more of the same; and if you liked the original series you are sure to love this. There is plenty of character development though; most notably Keiichi and Belldandy are closer having admitted their love. The new characters are a lot of fun; if anything they are better than the antagonists in the first series. The character designs are unchanged and the animation is of the same high standard as before. There is nothing much to offend although Peorth's costume doesn't leave much to the imagination.

While it isn't essential to watch the first series to enjoy this I would recommend watching it if you can as it serves to introduce most of the protagonists and their relationships. If you do watch this series first I'm sure you'll want to watch the previous one soon after just to spend more time with the characters.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.
