Sex & Nudity

  • While see-sawing with a girl of the same age (both fully clothed), a boy tells her that he will be going to a sauna and that people will be nude. She giggles about it.
  • The film is about a six-year-old boy's first trip to a sauna, and his reaction to the nudity there. Nothing about the trip to the sauna is explicitly sexual. Men, women, and the boy are all seen in fairly long views of full frontal and rear nudity, in a shower, in a sauna, and outdoors on lounge chairs, all of which are unisex (men and women present together). The boy is repeatedly shown looking at the variety of genitals and breasts; the camera also shows close ups of those areas, depicting the boy's point-of-view.

Sex & Nudity

  • In the sauna, a woman smiles at the boy in a friendly way, and he is apparently smitten. Later, he imagines her see-sawing with him, topless. We see the two of them from the side, fully nude on the see-saw with implications of sexual intercourse.
