Anecdotes:

Michelle Ryan puts on an American accent for her role as Jaime Sommers. In Episode 5, "The Education of Jaime Sommers", however, she speaks in her natural English accent, a fact to which subtle references are made throughout the episode. When Jonas (Miguel Ferrer) tells Jaime she is to pose as an exchange student from Oxford, he asks her "How's your British accent?". When Nathan ('Kevin Rankin') is talking to Jaime over the radio and asks her why, when they are the only ones there, she is still speaking in a British accent, Jaime replies "Because I'm a method actor".

Poor, poor, poor

I had my reservations about this. I had fond memories of the original. I don't mind updates, remakes or whatever you want to call them. But I absolutely hate re-imaginings. And since this has influence from a producer of Battlestar Galactica (TNG), not to mention one of its cast, that's what we got, and it is horrible.

So they gave Jamie an eye too, Steve Austin's sensor implant. Oh, and little nanobots too, just like 7 of 9 (or is it 6, or 6 of whatever)... I guess we should just all forget about the original story lines.

I can't believe I wasted disk space on my PVR for this. At least the timer was only a one time thing, so I won't have to wast additional time to go in and delete it.

I wish people in Hollywood who have these "re-imagining" ideas, would put their efforts into "imagining" something original. If they can't show any respect to original stories and their fans, they shouldn't bother. Like I said, I don't mind remakes, but when one sucks like this one does, I won't be back.

So far, the only thing NBC has in their lineup that I'll watch is: "Heroes".
