This 13 show series, including the "William Tell" show described in the plot, was the first series produced by Unlimited Energee, a new studio in Sydney Australia founded by Robert Davidson and Doug Richards. In the mid 1990's it was the largest independent animation producer in Australia, employing up to 50 people including two artists from the United States. Other Energee highlights were the first digitally produced an episode of Walt Disney Australia' "Aladdin" series, its own series Crocadoo (featuring some of the first 3D background work done for Australian series animation), and the feature film of the classic Australian children's story, "The Magic Pudding", starring John Cleese. Loss of a principle financier forced Energee to close around 2002.
