From the very beginning, first images, I knew it would be a great episode, among the best of the show, and the following confirmed. Anyway, any plot involving the French intelligence, State Reason, State Secrets, is rarely lousy, and often gritty, bitter. I don't know the director of this one but the directing skills shown here are surprising for TV program. Solid, tough with not too much useless humor. It is smart, far above the average TF1 garbage channel stuff, more destined to brainless home audiences than intellectuals: such as NAVARRO or JOSEPHINE ANGE GARDIEN. This episode belongs to the MOULIN golden age era.
