Worth a look if you are studying animation but perhaps not worth it beyond that

A man lives by himself and hoards the letters delivered to his house that are meant for other people. He sorts and saves them until one day a very special letter arrives.

This is the closest I can get to a plot summary because I'm afraid it was lost on me. The theme of other lives being within the man's house was well displayed by the ghostly figures around his walls etc however what it actually means wasn't clear enough for me to be able to follow along. Visually the film is good for a low budget piece of animation, with imaginative designs and actions throughout. The downside of them is that they are difficult to translate and I found myself a bit confused as to their meaning within the narrative (which itself was hard to fathom).

The animation is rough but effective, which appears to be a decision rather than a limitation of the budget. Director and writer Thomas could have done more to make her story clearer and as such she must carry the can for the weaknesses within the film. Worth a look if you are studying animation but perhaps not worth it beyond that.
