It's tax time, and with everyone looking for as many deductions as possible, Claymore takes some antiques from the basement of Gull Cottage to Elwood Homer at the charity shop for a tax write-off. As the items were of sentimental value to the Captain, he is once again upset with Claymore and seeks revenge by imitating Claymore's voice to phone Mr. Homer and say he is donating the entire contents of his office. They're purchased by Deke Tuttle, who says they've disappeared. Everything shows up in the house Mr. Hampton rents from Claymore, landing the landlord in hot water with Constable Peevey.
