Maguire is on the hunt for a safe cracker, the finger points to a former robber, who's apparently gone straight, the robber is a judo expert, and has a penchant for whistling a popular them, pop goes the weasel.
I quite enjoyed Commando Crook, it's a case that sees Maguire very much in the middle of the action, and he's hunting for quite a smart criminal, one that knows what he's doing.
It's a very smart looking episode, just look at those wonderful cars and suits.
Finally we see some decent action sequences, this show isn't known for convincing fisticuffs scenes, but these ones looked rather good, particular the scuffle in the living room.
It's a well acted episode, Robert Beatty as always is great, Richard Bird and Arthur Goullet were good in support.
7/10.
