  Ted Sprague : I wouldn't hurt Mr. Muggles, would I?

  Sandra Bennet : "I walked through fire and didn't get burned." You were trying to tell me.

  Claire Bennet : I was... trying not to tell you.

• Noah Bennet : There's no cure. We can't change the way you are. The only choice was to kill you.

  Ted Sprague : I wish you had.

  Noah Bennet : It was my call. You had a life. Who was I to take it from you?

  Ted Sprague : Because you let me go, my wife is dead.

• Matt Parkman : [Matt is trying to read Mr. Bennet's mind and finds he's thinking in Japanese]  This son of a bitch is thinking in Japanese!

  Ted Sprague : Why are you thinking in Japanese? We want answers. Who are you and what did you do to us?

• Claire Bennet : [to her Dad, as Matt reads her mind]  This is your fault.

  Matt Parkman : [after listening to Claire's thoughts]  She knows it's his fault. He's got them all fooled, except for her.

  Ted Sprague : [to Mr. Bennet]  Just when you thought plausible deniability was gonna save your ass.

• Claire Bennet : [to Matt]  He isn't a paper salesman.

  Ted Sprague : Guess she isn't Daddy's little girl anymore.

• Matt Parkman : Ted, put the gun down. That's not gonna help anybody.

  Ted Sprague : He killed my wife, only fair I kill his - and with his own gun, too!

• Ted Sprague : [to Matt and Mr. Bennet]  If you are not back in an hour, look for a mushroom cloud.

• Noah Bennet : I don't want anyone else dying because of what I did to you.

  Ted Sprague : Do all the words that come out of your mouth sound like lies?

• Ted Sprague : [to Claire]  I'm curious about something. Did Parkman know when he shot you that you wouldn't die? Did your dad tell him that?

  Claire Bennet : I don't know.

  Ted Sprague : [about Matt and HRG]  That explains why they were so chummy when they came down the stairs. What do you suppose they're up to?

• Ted Sprague : Then why the theatrics of shooting the girl who can't die?

  Matt Parkman : It's better than shooting one that can.

• Noah Bennet : What do you want from me? You come into my house with guns?

  Ted Sprague : If you insist on lying, you're gonna upset me. You know what happens when I get upset?

  Ted Sprague : I get very bright and very hot.

  Matt Parkman : No, no, no, no. Ted is going to do us all a favor, right Ted? And he's not gonna get upset.

  [pointing at Mr. Bennet] 

  Matt Parkman : But you gotta help.

  Noah Bennet : I'm not who you think I am. I'm just a paper salesman.

  Ted Sprague : No, no. You're not.

  [flashback to fifteen years ago] 

  Thompson : So tell me, how do you feel about paper?

  Noah Bennet : Mildly enthusiastic.

• Matt Parkman : [to Ted]  Do you want revenge, or do you want the truth? You can't have both.

  Ted Sprague : I want the truth.

  Matt Parkman : Then let them go.
