It's the return of the green-faced "Wicked Sea Hag" and her pet vulture! The pair walk into Olive's house and Olive isn't happy. She threatens to call the police, but the old hag puts a spell on her. Now, Olive is her "zombie slave."
When Popeye comes calling, the Hag does worse things to him. She makes a doll of Popeye, wraps one of her hairs around his body and instantly Popeye's arms are locked to his side. She throws the doll into her sea chest, has the vulture carry it away, and swallows the key. Our sailor man hero then gets tossed out of the house.
How does Popeye get out of this dilemma? Hint....he runs into an old magical friend on the street and gets help. The best part of many of these King Features Popeye 'toons is Popeye butchering words. At less than six minutes each, many times the stories are weak, plus the writing isn't that good if you're looking for a lot of humor. The jokes are mostly the language and the stories are geared more for little kids. This is yet another example, although this one has a unique twist near the end.
