the best thriller/horror from India
somsuvra-mukherjee21 December 2007
"Ho Sakta Hai" is definitely the best thriller/horror suspense movie to come out of India. Wish the film was promoted and marketed in a commercial format. Sadly such a brilliant movie with such fantastic screenplay and imaginative visual transitions never got its due. Probably it was too ahead of it's time. But i sincerely feel once the film in on satellite, this review of mine won't go waste. When a friend of mine recommended the DVD, i saw a pirated version. The story is very good with a mind blowing ending. I wish more films like this are made in India.A must watch film for any film buff who love the horror/ thriller genre.

A horror pie
rammanojk8 December 2010
Meticulously brought down on screen – A very nice horror thriller – surprising – shocking – real yet fantastic. Watch this film for really gr8 script, gr8 sound effects & gr8 direction. I remember, the script of this film had been selected for Oscar Library, & I feel it's worthy of it. It had also won some awards, which makes it special. Work of "Mr. Banerjee" is appreciable. Creepy sound effects, nice use of special effects, expressive & emotive cinematography. This film captures & imitates the art of black magic efficiently & powerfully. I rate it 8/10. I read someone had written criticizing & a very stupid review about the film, which I found very unfair to the makers. As being a horror film fan, I know that, this movie is one of the most downloaded horror films now hence; I would suggest the audience to watch the movie, without being fooled by distractive & foolish reviewers. Would like to see more such films from "Mr. Louis".

Please stay away from misleading ratings
folkpoet8021 March 2010
It's been a while since I wrote a review along with rating a movie. First off - I would like to say that the 7.3 rating from 15 votes is completely bogus and possibly rigged. From start to end - there was not a single moment that was worth watching. I was completely fooled by the rating and Victor Banerjee (I have no clue WHY he acted in this movie).

Script, Story: Absolutely non-convincing Cinematography, Sounds: Non-existent Cast: Avoidable. There was no dialogue delivery what so ever and it seems everyone was just speaking whatever came to their mind.

For the reviewer who said that this is the "best horror movie to come out of India" - has either not seen much of Indian Cinema in this genre or is completely lost. I watched the entire movie at 4x speed and would like to plead everyone to stay as far away from this movie as possible. If you have an afternoon to waste, you can at least watch Vastu Shastra, 1920, 13B (great movie), Raat etc.

I gave it 1/10 because Zero was not an option.

"HO SAKTA HAIN" is an awesome film..i remember seeing "Ho sakta hain"in the theater. one of the lady started to scream like hell, seeing one of the sequence..ther was a huge cheers in the theater.i wonder some people don't get the movie like some guys called poet..either he got too scared after watching it...or he dint get it.. i recommend watching this movie..its something different which has contributed to the Indian horror films..Even watch out for the vfx style, the camera direction, the suspense and the err feeling of someone is there beside you..its pretty cool..Even the shandeliar falling sequence was pretty cool stuff in 3d.once again a thump sup for the film maker "Wilson Louis"
