- An 80-year-old man with a penchant for real life games in a story about rights and wrongs. It's a story about the decisions one makes in their lifetime and the fact that every decision has its repercussions, hearing and judgment.
- CHEHRE is the story of a man who faces a tough time when faced with retired law professionals. Sameer Mehra (Emraan Hashmi) is the chief of an ad agency called Paradoy. He goes to a hill station somewhere in the North for an ad shoot. But due to a work commitment in Delhi, he leaves from the hill town despite heavy snow. On the way, he takes a shortcut to Delhi but due to a tree fall, he gets stuck. On top of it, his car suddenly breaks down. He then meets Paramjeet Singh Bhullar (Annu Kapoor) who advises him to join him to a friend's place till it's safe to go. Paramjeet takes him to the house of Jagdish Acharya (Dhritiman Chatterjee) where Hariya Jatav (Raghubir Yadav) is already present. Soon, Lateef Zaidi (Amitabh Bachchan) also joins them. The quartet then informs Sameer that they meet every day and play a unique game. As part of this game, they conduct a mock trial since all of them are retired law professionals. While Jagdish Acharya was a retired judge in a nearby court, Paramjeet was defense counsel and Lateef was chief prosecutor. They invite Sameer to play this game. Sameer agrees. The quartet tells him that he'll be the accused in their court of law. Paramjeet would defend him while Lateef would try to prove that he's guilty. Jagdish, meanwhile, would be the judge. Lateef gives Sameer a chance to confess if he has ever done any crime and got away with it. Then they'll try him for that charge. Sameer, however, confidently tells that he has never committed any crime. Lateef then gets a chance to try him for any crime he desires. In the course of their conversation, Sameer blurts out that he used to detest his ex-boss, G S Oswal (Samir Soni) as he was a tyrant. Sameer also reveals that Oswal died recently and that he took over his position. At this, Lateef decides to try him in their court for the 'murder' of Oswal. Sameer is aghast and makes it clear that he hasn't killed him. But Lateef tells the court that he's willing to put his legal reputation at stake and that he'll never play this game ever again if he fails to prove that Sameer hasn't been a part of Oswal's 'murder'. Sameer is a bit apprehensive but then he realizes he need not worry as it's just a game. But his worries vanish instantly when he finds out that Hariya Jatav was not a lawyer or judge. He was actually a hangman and that he has kept the noose ready, should the accused is proven guilty in their court. What happens next forms the rest of the film.—https://www.bollywoodhungama.com/movie/chehre/

The quartet then informs Sameer that they meet every day and play a unique game. Ana (Rhea Chakraborty) is Jagdish's housekeeper. Joe Cost (Siddhanth Kapoor) is a mute helper of the house. Joe killed a man who sexually assaulted his sister and served 7 years in jail. Lateef notices a cigarette case with Sameer, engraved with N.O. Sameer says the case was a gift from his girlfriend.
As part of this game, they conduct a mock trial since all of them are retired law professionals. While Jagdish Acharya was a retired judge in a nearby court, Paramjeet was defense counsel and Lateef was chief prosecutor. They invite Sameer to play this game. Sameer agrees. Sameer hits on Ana when he finds a moment alone with her, but she is disgusted and almost pulls a knife on him but manages to control her emotions.
He was actually a hangman and that he has kept the noose ready, should the accused is proven guilty in their court.
Bhuller tries to counsel several times that Sameer should tell him all the facts, but Sameer continues to stonewall and says that Lateef's case has no merit. The trial starts and in course of conversation Sameer reveals that Mr Oswal was a hated figure even by his wife. Lateef latches on this point and establishes that the wife was Natasha Oswal (Krystle D'Souza), shorted to N.O. who had gifted Sameer the expensive cigarette case. Sameer says he didn't know Natasha was Oswal's wife and he met her at a pub and ended up driving her back to her own farm, as she was punch drunk. They start dating, but Sameer never knew that Natasha was Oswal's wife. After some time, Sameer finds that Oswal is her husband and that she calls him "Khadoos". Natasha calls Sameer and wants to meet at her farmhouse as Oswal is leaving for Europe. Sameer gets there to find Natasha bound and gagged. Sameer frees Natasha, who wants to kill Oswal.
Lateef says that Sameer killed Oswal to save Natasha from him. But Sameer retorts that Oswal died due to a heart attack on the golf course, with him and Natasha present. During a break, Sameer again asks Ana to leave with him and achieve fame and fortune with her looks at his agency. Lateef insinuates that Natasha told Sameer about Oswal's heart condition. Then Sameer taped himself and Natasha having sex and sent that video to Oswal to trigger the heart attack that killed him To prove his accusations, Lateef opens Sameer's phone and finds the video. Sameer blurts that Natasha used him and in his blindness, he killed a kind man. He alleges that the entire story was Natasha's plan, who wanted to be rid of Oswal. He also reveals that to ensure Oswal died, Natasha gave him a potassium injection when he was alone on the golf course.
Sameer says Natasha shunned him after Oswal's death. 35 days later, he entered her farmhouse and found her with her boyfriend Richard Alexander (Alexx O'Nell). Sameer made a video of them discussing the insurance payout of $5MM. Sameer demands a cut of Rs 3.5 Crores and takes Natasha's BMW car and Richard's cigarette case (Natasha has gifted him, and not Sameer). During the break, Sameer begs Ana to help him escape, but she refuses and reveals that she is Joe's sister (who was sexually assaulted). Jagdish sentences Sameer to death. Sameer tries to escape, but in the night, he falls off a mountain and dies. A few days later Natasha arrives at the house and asks Lateef about Sameer's phone. Lateef asks her to enter and entices her to play their game.
