This anime series is centred on a school boy known only as 'Assistant'; he can't decide what club to join and ends up watching a magic show performed by 'Sempai'... just about everything that can go wrong does as she is too nervous. Afterwards Assistant is invited back to the club room and soon he is Sempai's assistant. Over the course of the series we learn that Sempai can do tricks when alone but in every episode the tricks she tries in front of others go comically wrong. Later of two more students; brother and sister Saki and Ma-kun join the club.
This series of twelve fifteen minute episodes is fun if rather silly. Each episode is broken into several parts, each dedicated to one trick or mini-story. The character interaction is fun and the way the tricks fail provides laughs. They also provide a fair amount of fan service, occasionally a bit too much. The animation and character designs are okay; one doesn't expect the best in a series like this. Overall I'd say that if you want a laugh and don't mend the fan service it is a fun little series.
