Sex & Nudity
-
- Some storylines deal with physical aspects of the animal such as giving birth or internal abnormalities (e.g. requiring the vet to reach into the anus of a bovine). While usually not too graphic, it's clear what's happening. In one plot arc, a bull must be treated medically to restore its sexual drive. Its substantial testes can be seen, but aren't focused on in a lewd way.
Violence & Gore
-
- Animals sometimes have accidents or medical needs requiring surgery. The cuts and incisions are shown in medical detail, but usually not too bloody.
Profanity
-
- Occasional uses of words like "damn", "bloody", and "hell".
- I'm unclear as to whether the exclamation's "Farnon" or the F-abuse, at 3.3.42:24.
- Frequent use of damn, bloody, hell. Occasional use of God as an exclamation. Generally played for comedy.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Fairly frequent consumption of beer and some hard liquors. Some gatherings take place in a bar. A character oversleeps because he stayed out too late. A supporting character tends to overindulge, but this is part of his development and contrasted by the temperance of another main character.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- Animals are shown injured or in pain, and sometimes have to be put down. Not violent or gory but may be upsetting for some.
