Self-copying as recycling.
It feels like if the Family Guy doesn't have a kowtow for Netflix, then there will be a replica of at least some good jokes from previous episodes. And this is logical - hype-kids and zoomers have not heard about them, so the authors may not rush. Okay, I would try this "copy-paste", but the main characters mutter like robots and this is presented as a jokes. Not gonna lie, similar flaws come across before, but however, not all the time as in this episode. Now characters speak worse than russian basement-dweller (like me) and this is very strange, because the show (at least, earlier) is focused on the american audience. (in particular, the New England) I can't understand for whom the 17th and 18th seasons are done. For kids? They love Cartoon Network. For adults? They love Netflix. For fans of Family Guy? But they heard these jokes before. The series turns into a parody of itself. The worst part is that instead of ridiculing competitors, Griffins recognize their victory over themselves and the power of Disney, their new boss. And this is very sad.
