The Most Dangerous Prey
aramis-112-80488026 October 2022
This episode is based on an oft-repeated fallacy, that only humans kill for fun rather than survival. Anyone who believes that never kept kitty-cats. It's a lie, perpetuated for political purposes for simple-minded people who choose nor to think beyond bumper-stickers.

After playing matador with a tricerotops in some sort of dinosaur boneyard, as a last resort he kills it. For survival. But some high and mighty half-human creature appears and curses him to be hunted like he hunts others.

Reaching into his chest she pulls out something dark that stalks him in the most peculiar way. I won't give it away but who's the plateau's greatest hunter?

Whoever it is, it knocks Veronica about a bit and though it's just the antique way I was brought up: one never strikes a woman. It gets my back up. Though some people these days want women and men treated as absolute equals and men get knocked around on TV with impunity, whatever the provocation seeing a woman slugged (and not just georgeous ones) makes me furious. I want to see "it" destroyed.

Anyway, the whole thing is the short story "The Most Dangerous Game" (game as in prey) with a twist.

This episode is enjoyable in its variety if a bit repetitive and therefore tedious at times.
