In the mountains of Brasov, Romania, we find Gordon, the gorgon, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his blind date, Theresa. Gordon, however, is not alone. His hat springs to life as three snakes emerge from underneath. Gordon, being insecure about his snakes, settles his scaly companions and stuffing them back into his hat just in time for the tables waiter, Gage, to arrive with some wine for the evening. His actions frighten Gordon. The snakes, in retaliation, emerge again turning the waiter to stone. In a panic, Gordon rushes to hide the result of his existence by integrating the waiter into his environment. Theresa now arriving at the restaurant is taken back by her glasses. Insecure, she removes them accepting this date will live up to its true nature, blind. As the date continues Gordon and Theresa do their best to hide their insecurities, leading to a bountiful feast and kindling romance illuminated by the waiter.
