I loved the first two series of The Sinner and was totally disappointed in the third series. Bill Pulman's character seems a bit like a modern day Colombo however he lives right on the edge and does some extremely stupid things, making some very dodgy relationships along the way. He is not like a traditional cop and lives on the edge, almost the wrong side of the law himself. He is vague and weak. Not a team player, more vigilante. The plot was confusing to me and I kept feeling like I had missed something. Harry, played by Pullman, almost seems like he is running from the law himself. Not recommended, there is a lot better stuff out there to watch. This is drawn out and painful, a bit like an extended trip to the Dentist.
