A Development Episode

This could be seen as a filler episode by less engaged viewers but really it is all about Wilford's character development, him starting to shape things the way he wants them (order), his frame of mind (which is quite sociopathic), hints at things he might be planning to do, who he might do them to and shows the events leading up to the cliffhanger shown in the previous episode with Melanie, which is something viewers should be interested in learning about. It's not a big event episode but it certainly isn't useless filler. It's the not-so-calm before the storm.

2nd season's much better then the 1st, however

I'm not a huge fan of musicals by any means but a song and dance number done right and stylishly can be very entertaining. There was an episode where Wilfords girl sang a song before she came to his side of the train where it was pretty cool and done well. This episode however, while eating dinner a man went to the piano and played and sang beautifully. But this served no purpose for the story. Also, it was very convenient that he seemed to be so talented. This is supposed to be a post apocalyptic story where a smaller group of people managed to survive. The more people that happen to have those kind of skills and more so showcase them does not add to the story. It does not enrich the entertainment experience. All it does is highlight poor and lazy writing & effectively work as filler. Good writing does NOT routinely add things for filler. Also every episode starts with someone talking and just before the opening credits they mention snowpiercer's name and how many cars are on it. I'm not sure of the purpose for that but at this point it does a only annoying and another of the examples that showcase the sup standard capabilities of the writers responsible.

Such a delicate episode. It flooded me with The Greatest Showman vibes. I've enjoyed this plot from the beginning. I was excited what's going to happen next. Will they're going to die, are they're going to survive? What faith will be delivered. I can't remember when the last episode was such interesting as this. I can clearly say, that this is the best episode so far. If they're going to keep the same vibe as this one, I'm down for this trip.

Better than Season 1 and than first half of 2

This show is finally getting better, at last.

Its not gotta save it from beeing mediocre, but at least the final 4-5 episodes were solid.

Episode 9: An interesting, more electrically "phlegmatic" episode with a quite campy flow, entertaining atmosphere divided between the Group, Taily, Mr. Wilford and Ruth, some good acting, some unmemorable ones, some fine musical, some medical mutation, some spicy nonsense as the very standard of the show, fillers for good measure and an ending mini twist that though missing her character, our hopes are (already) low after so many cold days and icy nights.

Boring, dumb and painful

Why in this time, where people get on the street with blm, get so much down with Layton? I don't know! But it's more embracing, that there's nothing new, nothing exciting, nothing there to let you like this show. You can only disapproval with the madness of the new old Wilford. The singing is more babble slur of drunk people first, then a winning of a lame sad song.

You can hope, that the revolution will end this sh.., but I don't think so. A white old rich, mad man on leadership with the intent to kill poor people isn't new at all! So why should you watch this?
