Some aspects are retconned from Supergirl (2015), both coming from creative liberties and as a result of the events seen in the crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part One (2019), Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two (2019), Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Three (2019), Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Four (2020) and Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Five (2020). It includes: Lois and Clark having two sons, Lois getting pregnant several years earlier than when she did Pre-Crisis, the Kryptonian pod appearance, Clark being able to orbit Earth (which Kara could not without a specific suit), Clark's proposal to Lois, and his heat vision now being traditionally red instead of blue. Producer Todd Helbing would later clarify that this series is not, in fact, part of the "Arrowverse".
