It was above the bar I had set, but then it wasn't a very high bar.
I had expected less from it given Sapphire Pictures previous productions. But I was pleasantly surprised to find it an enjoyable experience. The limited budget isn't hidden, but it doesn't subtract from the experience either. It reminds me of an independent YouTube video. There were enough chuckles for me to call it funny and there were enough good line deliveries for me to call the acting decent. As far as a short film of this nature is concerned, it was rather pleasant. There's nothing in particular to criticize, save for a couple of eye-rolling lines to do with the elderly and pop culture. It's a bit slow paced, but then so are all the characters. I would certainly recommend it.
