- Jaikishan and Reema are in love with each other but live a poor lifestyle in India and are unable to marry. Jaikishan decides to seduce and marry a wealthy heiress, Monica, who he can subsequently divorce, take possession of her wealth, and then re-marry Reema. Everything goes according to plan, Jaikishan even accumulates enough money to buy Reema a bungalow, and re-unites with his college friend, Vishal and his wife, Manisha, who has a brain-tumor which must be surgically removed soon or she will die. Then Jaikishan's world crashes around him as Monica finds out that he has been two-timing her, so she seizes his bank accounts, leaving him in financial jeopardy and in debt with a goon named Gulshan. Jaikishan decides to avenge this humiliation by asking Vishal to seduce Monica, give him the money for Manisha's surgery, divorce Monica, take her wealth and re-marry Reema. Vishal reluctantly agrees to be part of this plan, has an affair, and even gets intimate with Monica. - This film begins with the escapades of Vishal, a poor man who has learned how to make it in life by bedding and bilking rich women. Under the guise of marriage, he films his "new brides", then extorts their families. One man pays the extortion price, plus extra to ensure Vishal is killed. But Vishal defends himself, kills his attackers, and is sent to jail and sentenced to hang. Meanwhile, Jai Kishan wants to marry Reema, who is constantly tormented by her adoptive uncle. He can't marry her because they are both desperately poor. Then he comes up with an idea, marry a wealthy woman (Monica), divorce her, and have enough from the settlement to marry Reema. Unfortunately, Monica finds out about his infidelities and refuses to divorce him. Ajay (Jai) runs into a friend, Sameer Rastogi, who is dying of cancer, and leaving a wife and child without support. He asks for financial help, but Monica has closed all Ajay's accounts, and he has to go to a cruel loan shark for help. Then, he sees on the news, that the killer sentenced to death, Vishal, is a dead ringer for his friend Sameer. If they can be switched, Vishal can kill his wife and free him.....—L. Y. Hostrawser
