old school movie
kvinpen18 April 2020
Clearly it is old school movie. We can see there is no freshness in the movie, though movie is tight and try to hold screenplay but old story make movie one time wathable. One of the good thing about this movie is showing unexplored part of karnataka like Viduashwathapura(Karnataka Jaliana valabagh) and Dwaja satyagraha

Positive Acting England locations India/karnataka unexplored locaitons comedy

Negative Story old style screenplay too much discussion of India and England

Overall one time wathable.

Very poor from a director who has given such big hits

I think Nagathihalli sir has lost the interest or taste in making good cinemas, not many of his recent cinemas have done good in the market, this one is way poor than previous ones, no screenplay, hero doesn't suit to the character , some scenes are just made up just for the sake of covering screen time, only nightlight is the comedian.

Extremely patronising movie which was horribly out of touch with today's generation

The movie was a hopeless watch simply put.

I'd walked into the theatre hoping for a light, fun filled movie. Little did I know that within minutes, archaic and mindless narratives in the garb of ideals were being thrust onto the audience. Who possibly had the infinite gumption to lap this up though?

The accents were terrible to hear, and the cast a travesty to their art. Why did the need possibly arise to sound posh like the Brits when the native actors could barely string a few phrases in English together. The acting by the British understudies was no less cataclysmic. It was an embarrassing watch on so many levels.

The story was so facile and riddled with disjunction right from the very go. Nothing stuck from the movie besides the throbbing ache in my head once the curtains closed.

I was entirely sold on the movie being satire until I realised that they were actually serious at making people believe that they should be taken seriously.

I was left reeling, they had the audacity to think this would be a serious watch. They actually thought they could engage the audience without them wanting to pull all the hair out of their head. And they thought it would be a good idea.

The only reason this didn't deserve a 1 star is solely for Sadhu Kokila's performance which provided much needed comic relief and was the saving grace from this disaster.

Romantic thriller !

You can be sure you will not be bored even a minute ! The movie is very fast paced. The story line starts with diamond auction interrupted by a cool villain Gopal Kulkarni and his gang who don't look vicious at all ! Story quickly moves to build main characters Vashishta as UK based Vlogger visiting India and meeting Medini the heroine, conveniently cast as grand daughter of Gemologist Anantnag ! Now that the connection has been made from diamond heist to the hero, heroine the story moves around grand locations around India and England interspaced by events en route of diamond smuggling and some good comedy by Kokila Sadhu as the Smuggler ! Nagathihalli effortlessly introduces the nuances of NRI Kannadaigas and Patriotic theme into the heady mix with some very catchy songs ! Great acting by Manvitha as Medini and superb Ananthanag . The movie leaves everyone feeling good and a message !

A good family entertainment for the republic day season in Karnataka

A film well thought off and keeps you in check till the end. In a era where movies run on obscene content, double meaning, itemizing women... Dr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar's movie comes as a pleasant surprise. The movie touches various sentiments of patriotism, emotion, beautifully portrayed love and respect for both Mother India, Our Culture and Women. The pros and cons of our existence during and beyond the British India rule. Overall, a movie where one can watch the screen, start to end with your kids and elders.

Positive film with balanced views about India and UK
tejasv-6991928 January 2020
This movie is a good eye opener for most Indians who have always wanted to have a good debate about India and England. It pans landscapes of India and UK, which is what I love as traveller. Thanks for Introducing us Vidhurashwatha, We also a learn a bit about gemology and diamonds.

Lead Actor Manvitha Harish and Vasistha Simha have lived up their roles, its not an easy when you have to deliver a message. Senior actors have delivered their best performance.

Songs are melodious and cover Importance Kannada, Pride of India, Love for London and Romance of lead pair. Sadhu comedy is top class,

NO double meaning and NO vulgarity, when you leave the cinema you would have learnt one thing more than you already know.
