Absolute Hit, 26 October 2008

this is really an excellent movie. it is meaningful and funny at the same time. no 10 minutes passed without audience laughing and I believe part of the audience could well have cried – the movie is about how you enjoy the life that is given to you, how you build your life and how you influence other people's lives. there are lots of great artistic ideas in the movie. it is not at all a cliché comedy. it is indeed very European, but I believe it speaks universal language. many have noticed that there is little conversation in the movie, just a couple of lines – and the way how directors have managed to deliver their idea without actors saying a word is so much marvelous. I don't want to give out much of the plot so I'll just say that the story is very smooth, very interconnected at various points, like a net, a web. and what is one of the most important things (to leave aside high professionalism and creativity) is that you walk out of the theater with this very positive feeling that life is a miracle, so beautiful, so great, you want to laugh and be happy, you want to live quietly in peace.
