- A trap with a large sharpened spike is sprung and comes down on a woman's foot. Lots of blood. She is in obvious agony and there is some time spent showing her attempts to remove it. When she gets it out you can see a gaping hole.
- An infected man impales himself through the mouth on an arrow.
- A woman begins growing mushrooms out of her skin, removing them causes her pain and leaves gaping bloody holes behind
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The infected are grotesque mutated people with mushrooms and other plants growing out of their faces and body parts. They make very unnerving sounds and are a constant threat to the protagonists.
- A father is told to sacrifice his own son to the creature/God. He is very distressed over the news but obeys and attempts to kill his son with an axe and dagger.
