The "wings" were borrowed from the Mid West Rhinos, a local cricket club, to hide the players entering and exiting.
There were no curtains and so during the performances the set changes were in full view of the audience.
In order to perform the play, Kwekwe Sports Club had to adapt a steel structure to build the stage as seen in the play and required four people working for four days to complete.
As there were few within the cast adept at singing and dancing, there were some deviations from pantomimic norms. The biggest example of this was having a single person, Ken Connelly, playing guitar during musical interludes.
This was the first play performed by KKSC Theatre.
