Phillip goes through his days listening to more media broadcasts. When he buys items at a convenience store, he notices that the clerk-Kuldeep Singh, an immigrant--is a Supe with a light in his eyes. The Boys and Grace are in the next room, listening, and Billy tells the Grace that they should squeeze Lamplighter until he gives up the name of the person above him, and then kills him. Grace points out that Lamplighter is willing to speak against Vought at the hearing, but Billy doesn't think much of Congress.
Neuman comes in and overhears Billy, and warns the group that Lamplighter is a disgruntled ex-Supe. Despite that, he'll be a good witness but she needs more. She says that they need to know why Vought was doing at Sage Grove, and Grace says that they know someone who might know the full picture. However, she refuses to tell Neuman who it is.

Connie asks to see Billy immediately.
Annie wakes up in a cell. She soon discovers that her powers have been suppressed, and nobody answers when she pounds on the door.
Lamplighter continues watching Supe porn, with a cuck normal looking on as a Homelander-standing has sex with his wife. A disgusted Hughie looks on. The ex-Supe tells Hughie that he's dead once he testifies at the hearing, so it doesn't make any difference what he does. Lamplighter tells Hughie that he was a prodigy at 4, and he almost did great things but then he ended up like a cuck in a porn while the real Supes has sex with the cuck's wife. Hughie says that after his mother died, he watched his father do nothing with his life. He thought he had found what he was meant to do, but it turns out that he's shit at that as well. Billy approaches Sam but tells him to stay his distance. Sam says that he just wants to talk, and Billy gives him two minutes. Sitting back down, Sam talks about the cricket matches he took him to. He admits he was a no-good father and wanted to say goodbye to Billy the way he never got a chance with Lenny.
When Billy tells Sam that he's the reason Lenny is dead, Sam says that no one can rely on anyone but themselves. He tells Billy that Lenny wasn't hard like Billy, and Billy points out that Sam beat both of them. Sam is happy that he made Billy as tough as he is, tougher than he ever was, and says that Billy couldn't handle Lenny's death and joined the SAS, abandoning his younger brother. Billy shoves Sam against the wall and chokes him, despite Connie coming out and trying to stop him. After a moment, Billy finally lets Sam go. His father, smiling, says that Lenny could never have done that. Disgusted, Billy walks off.

Becca complains that Homelander just "popped by", and Homelander tells Stormfront that Becca doesn't like to discuss Ryan being a Supe. He apologizes for not being there enough, and says that he wants Ryan to get to know Stormfront. Homelander says that he'll be around more and wants them to be a family.

She doesn't blame Maeve, but wishes she were as strong as Maeve. Maeve flips over the dining table in a fit of anger, and tells Elena that that's the "real her". Elena says that she did and apologizes.

The fish in it know Deep by name, and Deep introduces Cassandra to A-Train then hugs A-Train in thanks. Alastair comes over and tells them that he has a meeting with Edgar. He hopes to get them back into the Seven, and asks them what they think of Eagle. He then says that Eagle is a "toxic personality" and no Church members are to have any contact with them. Alastair explains that Eagle claimed that the Church program failed him, but the leader says that Eagle failed the program.
The next day, Lamplighter takes Hughie into the Tower via a secret entrance in a back alley. Lamplighter uses his handprint, still in the system, to access an elevator and they go up to the Seven's floor.

Billy drives to the gate of Vogelbaum's manor, but Sonia refuses to let him in. After Billy talks his way in, Vogelbaum tells him he can't give Billy the information more than he could give it to Grace. Billy asks what Homelander was like growing up, and Vogelbaum finally says that Homelander was a sweet boy when he was 5 or 6. Vogelbaum needed Homelander to be the strongest man in the world, and Vogelbaum admits he did it for him.
When Billy asks if Vogelbaum considered how what he was doing would affect non-Supes like Billy, Vogelbaum says that it was barely a blip on his radar. Billy asks what his radar is telling him at the moment, and Vogelbaum tells Billy to do what he wants but he won't give Billy the information he wants because his family would be in trouble. The younger man says that Vogelbaum's family is already in trouble, and threatens to kill Vogelbaum's daughter if he doesn't cooperate, and then go after the rest of Vogelbaum's family.
Vogelbaum wonders how Billy can be so cruel, and Vogelbaum's daughter Deanna comes in with tea. Billy turns on the charm and takes a sip, and Deanna leaves.

The fire sprinklers go off, and alarms go off throughout the building. Annie realizes that the suppression system has powered off and blasts her way through the door.
Hughie realizes that he needs Lamplighter's hand, and breaks a bottle to cut the hand off of the charred corpse. He then runs out to find Annie.
Black Noir grabs Annie as she goes through the hallways, and slams her through the wall into the conference room. Connie admits that she arranged the reunion for Billy's sake, hoping Billy would let it go and he wouldn't become like Sam. She hugs Billy and goes.
The next day, Deep and A-Train watch a newscast of Eagle and how the Church released video of him and his deer-dressed sexual partner. A church representative, Carol Manning, says that Eagle has been spreading false and defamatory rumors about the Church religion to stay relevant. A-Train has the bartender change the channel to the hearings. Homelander secretly tells Barrett to find Annie. Meanwhile, the Boys watch the channel from their safehouse, along with Donna and Annie.
The chairman calls the hearing to order, and Neuman says that the testimony they're to hear will prove Vought is guilty of corporate malfeasance and multiple felonies. The chairman calls Vogelbaum to the stand, and Billy figures that they've ""got" Homelander.
The chairman swears Vogelbaum in, and then the chairman's head explodes from no visible means. Vogelbaum's head explodes a few second later, and the heads of more spectators explode through the courtroom, including Shockwave's. Everyone else panics and runs, and Grace gets Neuman out.
