I see that some of the criticism of this episode is that it is too American/Westerners. Even though the Orville has a diverse crew, most of them are Americans with lots of putty. That's the curse of science fiction. If we are going to relate to a show, it has to relate to us. So the Krill have a revolution. Their religious fervor has been sold out to politics that resembles fascism. This one woman wipes out centuries of a stable world because she makes them believe that a simple treaty is treasonous. Of course, she fails to understand the other force out there--the juggernaut machinery. I did enjoy this episode because there is lots of action and exposition for future episodes, but I didn't analyze too closely.
