According to this series, rap was invented by Richard E. Meyer for the Chicago Bears in 1985. Somehow, with all the money he had to do research, he apparently never heard of Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash, or Public Enemy - or any of the others from the 70s and early 80s that created the genre. His version of rap history so bad that the segue into a Canadian hockey team singing a pop rock song actually flows quite naturally. Only five minutes long, but you will never get those five minutes back.
