The lesson to be taught by this picture is far from wholesome, when a daughter plots with the son to rob their father, who is killed by the girl's lover, whom he finds at the safe which the daughter has unlocked for her brother to rob. The scenic effects, lighting and photography were the only redeeming features. It did not please the audience. - The Moving Picture World, February 21, 1914
