The title of "Kid" seemed too juvenile for the outlaw appearing in the leading role. The story, however, is quite novel. The sheriff, after reading a book on reincarnation, dreams that he sees the outlaw as a ruler in India. The latter scenes in particular are original and entertaining. - The Moving Picture World, March 28, 1914
