On the one hand, this season has hit on a great plotline with the Sufi mosque, Ramy's unwise introduction of Dennis into the mosque and the chaotic fallout.
On the other hand, Ramy is being written like he's an immature idiot! Why did he need to lie about Dennis? Go to the sheik, tell him "there's this guy who's really messed up, possibly dangerous, how can we help him?"
But to lie about Dennis and then continue to lie and try to weasel out of his responsibility just makes Ramy look terrible. I'll keep going with this show, knowing that the point is, Ramy will be on a character arc to greater maturity but it's a plot arc for a teenager, not a grown man. Ugh.
