This was Cassy's first time Skydiving (shot on location at Skydive Midwest), which helped with genuine reactions / expressions. The skydiving videographer (Alexis McNaughton) used a DSLR instead of a go-pro, at the request of the director, so the footage would be more cinematic, and fit in well with the rest of the film. The scene was shot on a 28mm Rokinon. Paul, who had never been skydiving, was also in the plane. He recounts that after Cassy and the tandem instructor jumped, the pilot nose-dived, and went straight down for 9,000 feet, in order to land the plane before Cassy touched down. In a non-pressurized cabin, 9,000 feet in 2 minutes gave the director what he described as the worst headache of his life. "It felt like my head was going to literally explode. Next time, I'd definitely rather just jump from the plane!"
