Okay, I am a huge Drake and Josh fan. I love the show, and their first film was hilarious! I was extremely excited when I saw the first commercial. I knew from a long time ago that a second film was in the works (Really Big Shrimp wasn't much of a movie). The film starts out sort of funny. You can immediately tell that this is going to be different... very different. It is not that funny and lacks the comedic style that made the show great. When 'Drake & Josh Go Hollywood' came out, it was just wonderful and I still am able to watch it again and again laugh just as much as I did the first time, but I got hardly a quarter of the laughs out of this one. There is no suspense of the first film, and this doesn't even feel like a Christmas film. Although the ending of the film is a little better than the beginning, but overall the film was just... dare I say... weird. Drake Bell and Josh Peck are fine in this film, the acting is great. Bludge is just unnecessary. Megan's character doesn't serve too much of a purpose this time around, neither do Audrey and Walter (their parents) and what was up with Crazy Steve? He acts very different. I know he is supposed to be crazy but this feels different from the show. Overall, the excitement for fans was big but they'll probably be disappointed. But hopefully a new season for the show will come soon and probably a new film, but who knows how long that would take?
