Very anti-Christian
sterhill-120 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I have not quite finished it as I was so irritated by the constant jabs at Christians and Christian beliefs, I had to turn it off. The general frame of the show is an archeological dig in which they have found soldiers' remains from 1310, specifically Knights Templars. They've found a 2,000 year old piece of wood in the dig. True Cross?

Muslims in this show are celebrated as kind and peace loving. The show presents two young men, crazy, believing they are Knights Templar soldiers (?), carrying swords, with the Knights Templar cross on their t-shirts calling out these Muslim college students. They break in and tear up the main character's apartment looking for the piece of the True Cross. Crazy Christians.

There is a "right wing preacher", crazy, who says Muslims are taking over Britain and should be stopped. They show him as really mentally deranged. The "good" guys break into his office and steal an extremely old and valuable book that was locked in a plexiglass case and they are so self congratulatory about tearing up his office to find the key. Really? This ancient book gets tossed into their truck.

At the end, both factions find themselves in a really old, deep crypt with a lot of extremely valuable ancient wooden crosses. The leading lady forgot to check the batteries on her head flashlight and hey, they're dead, so she wraps a scarf around a long piece of wood and sets it on fire. NOT kidding. Fire! And the bumbling 'intern' hits the torch when see sees the preacher come in and of course everything burns. Thousands of years of old relics and they start a fire down there??? Stupid don't even start these people.

Good cast, nicely filmed but who would push this agenda? Christians bad and full of wrath, Muslims good and full of peace? Not for me.
