Ryan Gosling Gives The Fall Guy 2 Update(Photo Credit –YouTube)
The Fall Guy has successfully managed to keep the audience entertained with its amazing action and comedy sequences. Directed by David Leitch, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in the lead roles. The jokes about the movie started with the Barbenheimer collaboration as Ryan was a part of Barbie, and Emily starred in Oppenheimer. These movies clashed in theatres last year and were the most talked about.
Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt starrer is a tribute to all the stuntmen who risk their lives to perform the breathtaking and high-octane action sequences. It helps one understand what goes behind the scenes to make these action movies such a remarkable watch. It’s also a love story between Ryan and Emily’s Colt and Jody. The film has a happy ending, but will there be a sequel? Well, Ryan is giving us hope.

Halle Berry became a big name after a string of supporting roles in the 90s with the superhero film X-Men in 2000. Berry played the iconic X-Men character Storm and it is arguably her most popular role. However, she would also be remembered for playing one of the most iconic Bond girls in 2002’s Die Another Day.
Halle Berry played Storm in multiple X-Men films
Berry starred opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film, and her role as Jinx was different from others in the past as she helped move the plot instead of being reduced to a damsel in distress. However, Berry faced an embarrassing moment during an intimate scene with Brosnan in the film.

Hollywood stars Halle Berry and Bruce Willis have joined forces in various movies like Perfect Stranger and The Last Boy Scout. However, the actress has shared that she did not have a very pleasant experience working with the action star in their first film together, Tony Scott’s The Last Boy Scout.

The film follows Willis as a washed-up private investigator who teams up with a disgraced football star to uncover a potential conspiracy. Berry, who was still carving her path in the industry, portrayed the role of a stripper, Cory. And she later expressed feeling overlooked and unnoticed by her co-star.

President Joe Biden, appearing at one of DC’s oldest traditions, the Gridiron Dinner, made some sharp quips about Donald Trump but then turned serious about the threat that his rival poses to democracy.
Biden directed his barbs at his own age and at his predecessor.
“One candidate’s too old and mentally unfit to be president,” Biden said. “The other guy’s me.”
The dinner tradition, which dates to the 19th century, is a white-tie night that routinely draws the top echelons of government, media and business to watch journalists perform musical skits and politicians, also including Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Utah Governor Spencer Cox, do some of their own standup.
Biden noted that his student debt relief program “doesn’t apply to everyone. Just yesterday, a defeated-looking man came up and said, “I’m being crushed by debt. I’m completely wiped out.” I said, ‘Sorry, Donald I can’t help out.

On March 7, Republican Senator Katie Britt of Alabama delivered the Republican rebuttal to President Joe Biden's State of the Union address using what many are referring to as a "Fundie Baby Voice."
According to Jess Piper - a "former Evangelical, a Southern Baptist" who ran as a Democrat for a Missouri Senate seat in 2022 - the Fundie Baby Voice describes "the breathy cadence and the soft, child-like high pitch" Britt appeared to be using in her speech.
Piper explained that "it was ingrained in every woman [she] knew from church." Many women used to "prove" that they were able to "be sweet" and "obey," as was expected by the norms of their typical fundamentalist societies. Hence the use of "Fundie," short for fundamentalist, in the voice's name.

In the pre-coverage of Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, the speech is being billed as the most important of his presidency, what with his dismal approval numbers and what is shaping up to be very difficult campaign for reelection.
Moreover, so much attention has been paid to the president’s age — at 81, he is the first octogenarian on a major party ticket — that any kind of slip up will be seized upon by his rivals.
Then again, Biden’s most memorable moment last year was an exchange with House Republicans over Social Security, showing that the president had command of the stage. That’s why it’ll be interesting to see if GOP members restrain themselves so as to not give the president the opportunity this year.

Halle Berry Goes Down With The Mothership
It didn’t set off nearly the online uproar as did Warner Bros.’ decision to dynamite its $70 million Coyote vs. Acme action-animation hybrid, but another high-profile movie was recently, much more quietly, dumped. Netflix has grounded The Mothership, a Halle Berry sci-fi thriller directed by Oscar-nominated Bridge of Spies co-writer Matt Charman. The $40 million project started filming during the pandemic in 2021 and ran into one snafu after another — scheduling conflicts, reshoots, strikes and, most recently, continuity issues brought on by growth spurts among some of the children in its cast. During a Jan. 31 news conference, Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria cited “lots of production issues and story issues” for shelving the movie and insisted that “everybody just felt like it was the right thing to just not do it.” A source tells THR, however, that there may have been another reason Mothership got axed: Its biggest champion,...

For a while, it seemed as though Netflix’s sole focus was to become the first streaming service to win the Academy Award for Best Picture. With the releases of “Maestro,” “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “The Power of the Dog,” “Don’t Look Up,” “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” “Marriage Story,” “The Irishman,” “Roma,” “Mudbound,” “Beasts of No Nation,” and others, many in entertainment felt that the streaming service that disrupted the entire industry was trying to backdoor its way into the good graces of Hollywood by releasing prestige pictures in theaters. Then, as the entire movie theater business was still trying to get back on its feet following the Covid-19 pandemic shutdowns, Netflix put “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” into theaters — for an admittedly limited amount of time. However, it appears that the days of the world’s largest streamer making massive efforts to release its films in cinemas might be over.

Netflix just unveiled the line-up of films they’ll be releasing in 2024, and missing from that list is the Halle Berry sci-fi movie The Mothership – which, as we reported last week, Netflix has decided not to release at all. At the time, their decision to scrap the movie was reminiscent of Warner Bros. scrapping the films Coyote vs. Acme, Batgirl, and Scoob! Holiday Haunt (as well as a couple other Scooby-Doo projects). But, while at a media event yesterday, Bela Bajaria, who is currently serving as chief of Netflix’s film division, said the producers of The Mothership agreed with Netflix that the movie shouldn’t be released. This is different from what goes on at Warner Bros., where filmmakers are shocked and upset to hear their work is being tossed in the trash.

Last week, Netflix did what is unfortunately becoming common practice around Hollywood: They killed a nearly completed movie, Halle Berry’s sci-fi title The Mothership.
Essentially, the Matthew Charman-directed movie was in postproduction, and for all the changes that were required, it would have been impossible to do reshoots on the title completed in 2021 due to the child actors who are now grown up.
No bruised eyes: Reportedly, MRC and the pic’s producers Automatik were fully onboard with the decision, with Netflix pointing out that they’re still in business with Berry on an upcoming Mark Wahlberg action title The Union (August 16), not to mention the streamer has a film deal with the Best Actress Oscar winner.

It’s already been a busy 2024 for Netflix. Out is long time film chief Scott Stuber; in are live sports (sort of), a huge Sundance splash, and 18 Oscar nominations, the most of any individual studio. What does the next 11 months have in store? Answer: a hell of a lot.
Netflix on February 1 released a teaser video for its biggest properties arriving in 2024, including more than 50 new movies and 90 new and returning series. The highlight is “Squid Game 2,” the follow-up season to the South Korean dystopian smash hit that became Netflix’s biggest show of all time.
At the end of Netflix’s mega-tease, we see Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and his new bright-red hair walking through an airport when a mysterious voice on his phone tells him, “You’re going to regret the choice you made.”
“I’m going to find you, no matter what it takes,” he says in return.

Back in 2021, a Netflix production called The Mothership was filmed with Halle Berry in the lead role and Bridge of Spies writer Matthew Charman at the helm, making his feature directorial debut. Unfortunately, there have been “multiple delays in post-production” for unspecified reasons… and now Variety has confirmed that Netflix has made the decision to scrap the film instead of completing post-production.
Most people thought it was a questionable move when Warner Bros. decided to scrap the films Coyote vs. Acme, Batgirl, and Scoob! Holiday Haunt for the purpose of tax write-offs, but apparently Netflix thought it was a good idea, since they’ve decided to do the same thing with this project.
If we had the chance to watch The Mothership, we would have found that the story of the sci-fi movie took place one year after the husband of Berry’s character mysteriously vanishes from their rural farm.

Netflix has shelved Halle Berry sci-fi The Mothership, Screen understands.
Production on the film wrapped in 2021 however the streamer elected not to continue after multiple delays in post-production.
The film centres on a mother who uncovers an alien object under her farmhouse which may solve the mystery of her husband’s disappearance a year prior. MRC was producing the film and Matthew Charman was the director.
The Mothership joins a line of Hollywood films which have been axed despite wrapping production. Warner Bros did this with its DC feature Batgirl, as well as animation Scoob! Holiday Haunt, and Coyote vs. Acme.

Halle Berry‘s movie The Mothership is sadly not going to see the light of day!

Halle was set to star as Sara Morse in the film, and she was serving as an executive producer.

Filming on the movie started in July 2021 and wrapped later that year. Now, Variety reports that post-production delays have contributed to the cancelation of the movie.
The movie was to “take place one year after the husband of Berry’s character mysteriously vanishes from their rural farm. Now a single mother, Sara Morse and her children discover an extraterrestrial object underneath their home. It (hopefully) leads them to discover the truth about the patriarch’s disappearance.”

In a surprising development, Netflix will no longer be releasing Halle Berry’s sci-fi movie The Mothership, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Berry and the Mothership team already completed much of the filming on the project, but it was in need of extensive reshoots to get it over the finish line. Netflix opted not to move forward with those reshoots and shelved the film instead. The InSneider newsletter first reported the news.
The sci-fi film starred Berry as a woman who discovers an extraterrestrial object under her home one year after the disappearance of her husband. Matthew Charman (Bridge of Spies) wrote and directed The Mothership as his feature directorial debut. The ensemble cast included Molly Parker, John Ortiz and Omari Hardwick.
That move recalls Warner Bros. Discovery’s 2022 decision to ax Batgirl, the DC film that already completed shooting and was expected to arrive on HBO Max. The company...

The movie finished filming in 2021, but it couldn’t be completed after multiple delays in post-production, Variety has confirmed.
“The Mothership” is the latest Hollywood movie to disappear even though filming had wrapped. Since 2022, Warner Bros. has axed three movies — John Cena’s “Coyote vs. Acme,” the $90 million budgeted DC adventure “Batgirl” and the animated “Scoob! Holiday Haunt” — for the purpose of tax write-offs.

Mark Wahlberg had a funky bunch of acting roles on his resume beginning in the mid-’90s but found that he had to put more focus on producing if he was going to try to compete directly with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.

Mark Wahlberg was better known for his Calvin Klein underwear ads and his Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch music career than for his acting (“Fear”) when he accepted the role of aspiring porn star Dirk Diggler in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Boogie Nights.” The 1997 drama made Wahlberg a bonafide movie star, but he wasn’t immediately sold on the role. Speaking to Cigar Aficionado magazine, Wahlberg admitted he feared “Boogie Nights” might exploit him.
“When I first heard about the film, the subject matter was not appealing to me,” Wahlberg said. “I came from the whole Marky Mark thing, pulling down my pants, Calvin Klein underwear — I didn’t know if this was just the next level of exploiting me and now all of a sudden we have to lose the underwear.”
Wahlberg continued, “My agents kept pushing me. So I read the first 25, 30 pages, and I kind of put it down.

Mark Wahlberg said in an interview with Cigar Aficionado magazine that one of the reasons he pivoted to producing was because it became clear in his acting work that he’d always be taking a backseat to fellow mega-stars like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests are, but I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now,” he explains, referencing his four children with wife Rhea Durham. “That’s for sure. Shanken about his past, present and future business pursuits. Notably, the 52-year-old blockbuster star questions how much longer he can stand in front of cameras.
“Well, I’m certainly working harder now than ever. Certain businesses, you kind of build them, pass them on or you exit. Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests are, but I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now,” he explains, referencing his four children with wife Rhea Durham. “That’s for sure. Because that’s the most difficult thing.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken evaded pointed questions from CNN’s Jake Tapper about news that billionaire Elon Musk interfered with a planned Ukrainian attack against Russia’s invading navy.
Days ago, Elon Musk admitted he interfered with Ukraine’s military communications in 2022 by ensuring Starlink — the satellite communications network he owns — did not work in an area where Ukraine wanted to launch an attack on Russian invaders. According to Walter Isaacson’s upcoming biography of the billionaire, Musk blocked Starlink communications along the Crimean coast where Ukrainian submarines were...

There's no such thing as too much Sam Heughan.
This year alone, we've watched him on Outlander and Men in Kilts on Starz, and he'll stay with the cabler for the upcoming six-part thriller The Couple Next Door.
While the series is not set to premiere until 2024, Starz is getting the promotional train going early, releasing the first batch of photos for the highly anticipated series.
In addition to Heughan, The Couple Next Door stars Eleanor Tomlinson, Jessica De Gouw, and Alfred Enoch.
"When Evie (Tomlinson) and Pete (Enoch) move into an upscale neighborhood, they find themselves in a world of curtain twitching and status anxiety," the project's official description reads.
"But soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (De Gouw)."

Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry are teaming up for a new film, which will see both legendary stars face off as spies. Warner Bros. confirmed to Popsugar that they have landed the new project, titled "Maude v Maude." Deadline was the first to report news of the exciting movie.
Full details of "Maude v Maude" are under wraps for now, but an insider told Deadline that it will be a global action thriller - a sort of "Bond vs. Bourne." Roseanne Liang will direct from a script by Scott Mosier. Berry and Jolie are also attached as producers on the flick.
The film marks the first time the pair have worked together, though the Oscar winners are no strangers to the spy and action genres. Berry starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in 2002's James Bond film "Die Another Day," appeared in the third John Wick film,...

Deadline reports that Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry are set to join forces for Maude v Maude, an action thriller which sparked a multi-studio bidding war over the weekend.
Warner Bros. came out the victor in the battle of Maude v Maude. Roseanne Liang (Shadow in the Cloud) will direct the movie from a script by Scott Mosier (The Grinch). Not much is known about the project, but an insider described it as a “Bond vs Bourne” type of action thriller. I can get onboard with that. While both Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry have their share of action movies under their belts, this will be the first time that the two actors have worked together.

Mark Wahlberg has long championed his Catholic beliefs, and he told “Today” in a recent interview that Hollywood’s disregard for religion won’t stop him from sharing the value of faith. The Oscar nominee said that he needed “discipline” when he made the career jump from music to movies, and faith was one of the best ways to achieve it.
“That discipline has afforded me so many other things,” Wahlberg said. “I want to share that with people. So whether that’s with fasting, working out more, detaching from other things, and just spending more time with God in prayer or in thoughtful reflection and those things are important.”
“[Faith] is everything, it’s afforded me so many things,” Wahlberg continued. “God didn’t come to save the saints. He came to save the sinners…We want to be better versions of ourselves, and through focusing my faith, it’s allowed me to do that.
