I was at first scared to find another CASA DEL PAPEL - MONEY HEIST- crap, in the nasty pure latino extravaganza style, closer to Guy Ritchie's world than anything else. Well, it begins this way, especially during the recuit team members sequences. But if you know the movie history, more particularly the heist movie history, you know that all those topics, from two decades now, are more light crime dramas, if not nearly comedies, than dark, bloody and gritty features. Light hearted crime films, such as this one, speaking of the big London heist, pulled several years ago by old timers, and recently shown in theaters starring Mike Caine. Speaking of him, remember his performance in ITALIAN JOB, back in 1969, during a long period of the late sixties and early seventies, where heist movies were legions, legions, and also light hearted flicks. But this series is not totally like MONEY HEIST garbage stuff, maybe only the first part. Concerning the second one, the pace and atmosphere changes totally, becoming violent and gloomy, a radical change, believe me. But those robbers were really amateurs pulling such a job with no gloves at all, really amateurs. But maybe this was this way that the real gangsters executed the heist. Not a bad series because acting is effective.
