The most terrific finale of all times
searchanddestroy-129 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Definitely, the most gruseome, unexpected and downbeat ending ever seen, especially for a series supposed to be a drama, and not a crime, war or even horror series. In those three categories, this ending would not have been such a surprise of course, but not on a soap oriented drama show. Falconetti character is the best villain ever shown on a screen, TV or big screen confounded. It hurts, it makes you bleed inside of yourself. All long this series RICH MAN POOR MAN two seasons, you are glued to those characters, and the story is absolulely tense, as a page turner novel, you are always in a hurry to be at the next step, the next episode. But of course all audiences won't necessarily appreciate the ending, so depressing, disturbing. But, I love it. One little thing is strange however. BEWARE SPOILERS BEWARE SPOILERS BEWARE SPOILERS BEWARE SPOILERS After Rudy is shot in the back, he walks slowly in a crowded street, then he falls down to die, and in the next shot, the street is totally empty. Two options: ONE: Why the street is so suddenly empty after ten seconds? SECOND option: If the scene of Rudy dying takes place several hours later, after he fell, why no one have, in the mean time, approached to help him or call the rescue, the police ? I recall that the scene takes place in downtown Las Vegas, another city with NYC that never sleeps.
