- Taylor: That kid's hopeless. He's like a Disney prince, if, you know, Disney princes had side gigs stroking themselves down for magic jewels and shit.
- Sarah: When I told them what really happened, he denied it, and they believed him. That simple. I mean, they said all the right things about an investigation and I'm still waiting for a final decision, but they believe him. I know, because he's still there and I'm... here with you.
- Sarah: When I saw you, I thought "he's the best one over there. Of all the boys coming and going in that house, he's the best one. But he's also the one who'll break your heart." Because I know myself. I know how to pick 'em.
- [sighs]
- Sarah: I'm right, aren't I? You'd break my heart? If I let you?
- Tom: I...
- Sarah: Let me guess, you wouldn't mean to?
- Tom: I wouldn't want to.
- Sarah: Xeriscaping! Those sad patches of rock and dry-ass plants we put in in front of our houses to pretend we're civilized people with proper lawns, and not just crazy people who voluntarily choose to live on the surface of the sun.
- Sarah: I'd feel bad for her if she wasn't so hateful all the time. Like... no one wants your rocks, Karen. We've got our own.
- Sarah: So now I'm back where I started, under the watchful eye of Mom. Which maybe I need, like some sort of penance for an endless string of sins. I'm a walking example of what not to do--ever. Especially when it comes to men.
- Jordan: The thing to remember is this work isn't about you. It's about the subscribers and their stylized, idealized view of you. You never want to try to live up to that. That's a mindfuck, and the only person who benefits is your future therapist.
- Casey: You actually do get to meet a lot of people from all over, believe it or not. Men and women. And they're - well, most of them - really nice, too! Just lonely, maybe? And very, very specific.
- Casey: See, that's what happens when you grow up with almost no exposure to how the real world works. You find yourself passed around Vegas like a party favor by your new "family," who make you feel like it's the least you can do, given all they've done for you. And, if you take enough of the drugs they give you, you even sort of believe it.
- Taylor: Things really didn't get started 'till the girls got here. Divorce parties are wild--all that pent-up energy and resentment!
