The Texaco Motor Oil billboard seen briefly in the background had been scribbled out frame-by-frame on the only known copy of the film. Thunderbean Animation, in its preparations for this cartoon's release on the "Fleischer Rarities" Blu-ray, pieced the billboard together digitally from the remaining visible fragments.
As the doctor is examining Bimbo's car, the background music is 'Funeral March of a Marionette' by Charles Gounod. Alfred Hitchcock later used this as the theme for his TV series.
