Rosa being high was incredible, Amy busting down a door was dope and the romantic quest between Kevin and Raymond was a great story. And terry got to say a bunch of his catchphrases like "terry loves love" I'm gonna go watch it again and you should too!

This feels like the 99 we love

First episode was bad. They did wanted to convey a good message, but it was not properly executed and was a pain to watch.
But this Episode felt like a 99 episode. A good plot which didn't drag too much. Hoping it gets even better with future episodes.

Back to Being a Comedy Show

Now this episode should have been the first episode and they should've completely scrapped the actual first episode of this season. It was so badly written, but this second episode was back to actual well-written comedy. The stories were entertaining and I'm so glad to see Kevin back. Amy and the door scene and Terry running was hilarious. I hope Rosa rejoins the team (at work) before the last episode and I'd love it if Adrian Pimento atleast makes an appearance. He is such a great character.
Classic episode

This episode gave me old 99 vibes!!! These actors have really become these characters over the last 8 years and it was very obvious in this episode. Extremely funny and the comedic timing is perfect. Sad to see this show finish!
Vast improvement on first episode

The Lake House

This is the classic Brooklyn Nine-Nine we all know. This episode gave us some great laughs, such as when Amy got mad at Charles and swore at him. High Rosa was also hilarious, and we had the usual Raymond, Kevin scenes. The way they communicate is always a treat to watch.
This episode was amazing, and I hope the rest of the season is like this, I can't wait for episode 3 and 4 next week!

The Captain and Kevin

Warning: Spoilers
After the spasm and orgy of unjustifiably low ratings for the politically incorrect season 8 opener, The Lake House is more standard and comfort fare that Brooklyn Nine-Nine is successful at delivering. It's a shame though Hitchcock has retired and appears only through Facetime, but still the jokes fly thick and fast in this episode. The Captain and Kevin are seeking to heal their same-sex relationship, and maybe they can do so by the next episode.
Back to good Brooklyn 99

After the last episode having sad elements this episode is so good filled with funny queues and scenes it takes captain holt and other characters unique traits and uses them so well
Side note Rosa being high is the best scene in the whole show.

The other episode was awesome, but this was better.

This was also great cos it kinda was a remake of The Beach House, that is on my Top 10 list, but it was also very different from The Beach House in a way that we really got to see all the character development from the past seasons. Great, great episode.
A surprise after that meh episode

Great episode

This episode hits every beat. The whole 'parent trap' story is great and high Rosa is hilarious. The Charles & Amy plot is ok, Amy definitely overreacted. But the twist at the end is great, and everything feels like classic 99 again.

I hammered the season's first episode really hard... and justifiably so, BUT thank goodness episode 2 was on right after and gave us something to remind us why we love the show.
I was able to laugh again. Im still not totally happy with the direction the characters have gone, but we have seen some shake-ups in earlier seasons.
Fingers crossed that episode 3 brings back even more of the belived B99 humor.

There we go, way better.

Warning: Spoilers
The first episode left a very bitter taste in my mouth so I was highly skeptical going in to watch this one. I didn't feel the pop culture jokes were hitting well and the humour felt slightly off at times.
The portrayal of someone being high was terrible and written as if someone who has never been high wrote the script. A sly, little message about it at the end too.
Terry's character carries on from the first episode being a mockery of his former self and odd.
The story of Raymond and Kevin is cute and was the redeeming factor in this episode.
Hopefully this is the start of B99 going on the up.
