Bognor tries too hard to be a quirky funny mystery series and at times I felt the wheels came off in the final episode.
Bognor realises that someone is lying to him and divert blame towards someone else. Bognor figures out that there is more than one person involved in the deaths.
Sir Erris Beg who is the chief constable of an area where several deaths has taken place is suddenly more interested in cheese than calling on his police force to help Bognor.
At the end both Bognor and Parkinson do get police in on the chase. Only for the police to be after them for speeding.
It played out more like a farce, even when Bognor goes for the villain.
I can sense why the ratings declined so quickly after the first episode.
