[5.6] Too little of everything
cjonesas23 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 1: Cheesy, weak, bad acting, unimpressive, super weak logic, uncharismatic characters, incapable "experts" and "authorities" and the list goes on with a cringy flow, "minor" damages, too little flames... Basically to little of everything. A farce of a second season pilot.

Well the first season was ok but this is laughable.
namstonk3 September 2021
So the hero from the previous season an aviation crash expert is now a train crash expert? Ok. This expert then promptly strolls around the crash site, manages to find a passenger that nobody else has seen, and finds clues that others have failed to see. This all goes on whilst the emergency services are all still trying to do their jobs, we know, this would not be allowed. Then this bit of dialogue rings out, "the Apollo is the first high-speed automated train in the US and the first crash". Hmmm, well it would be wouldn't it, you've just said the Apollo is the first high-speed train? And surely if it was automated why did it have a driver? The next line then promptly goes, "this makes our investigation unique", well let me drink from the hot water tap, put on a skirt, slap my thighs and you can call me Veronica ffs. It gets far worse, the scene after is just jaw-droppingly bad. I'll manage till the end but my thigh's are going to be sore.

So many errors
tindalef14 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Like Namstonk I am bemused by the number of ill thought errors. A super advanced train where you have to stop and get out to reset the brakes, it hits a tanker at 140 and the tanker is not blasted off into the next state. The train cab damage looks relatively minor despite the impact speed. The investigator makes the journey from Washington to Michigan, at least 500 miles, and arrives while flames are still burning. She then discovers both the missing people, the alleged criminal at an unexplained stop in the middle of nowhere and thats just episode 1.

So many questions
meathome-8187826 August 2023
Why is she wandering through the crash site with no protection, not even a hard hat. Pulling off metal casing (possibly hot) with her bare hands. Why aren't the police using dogs or thermal imaging to help find the fugitive. Why is she even there? Why are there so many required characters for the review. Ok - series one was interesting but from the start this makes no sense. Maybe it will improve as it proceeds but I am not overly hopeful. Why does everyone look so clean and unmarked after a massive crash. How come Kendra can investigate trains and planes and know immediately how they work or should work eg where the train brake system is located.

Devastatingly Saccharine
imdb-576018 November 2021
The first season was enjoyable enough though littered with continuity and reality errors - this season left me waiting for the ad breaks to bring some sense of reality.

If you love Kendra and want an emotional roller coaster then this will be a joy for you to watch - if you are after anything with some depth and a nod to reality it's got to be a hard pass.

E- Canada can do much better.

You want ridiculous? You got it!
FENR8R18 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The first series was a bit of a stretch but otherwise okay and entertaining. This season is ridiculous. Beyond ridiculous. First, there is no high-speed rail service in Canada and none between Toronto and Chicago. It's been talked about for decades, it will be decades yet. So the initial premise is just goofy from the start. The train's braking system doesn't work that way on real trains. High speed train cab has modest damage despite hitting a tanker truck at very high speed. The USA calls in the UK's top air crash investigator to investigate a train crash on US soil? BAHHAHAHAHHAAAAA! Yeah, sure. Then there's the wreck. The investigator is 500 miles away and when she arrives, the site still has hundreds of fires with fire crews NOT putting out fires. But, you know, whatever. The investigator finds a live victim nobody else finds and a missing survivor finds her miles from the crash site at her hotel AND the bad guy finds her and carjacks her in the middle of nowhere. Talk about pushing your luck. The story is stupid the dialogue is awful and the acting is poor. Yet I'm still going to watch this train wreck (pun intended) so I can mock it while I watch it because I can't wait for what stupidity they can do in 5 more episodes! Oh, they've RENEWED IT? Sweet Baby Yoda. WHY? LOL.

Straight from Woke-is recipe book
dusadomovine30 July 2022
Yet another TV show based on the same woke-ist recipe book. It seems they invested far more effort into ticking off the woke requirements than in writing and presenting a compelling story. Has HollyWoke lost all creativity?

Series 1 passable
russellharvy-3901713 May 2022
Series 1 passable...managed to get through it. Started Series 2 but too many things in episode 1 that are not plausible. Gave up... some good writers would help.
