The song "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" which is a song originally performed by Paula Abdul is the only non-cover version out of the 40 song lists for this game. Since Paula Abdul made an appearance in this game, the designers decided to leave the song "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" unchanged in it's original version while the other 39 songs for this game are cover versions.
This is the first Karaoke Revolution (2003) video game series ever where the player can customize their microphone designs and customize their characters with earrings for both male and female characters and makeups for the female characters. Currently, this Karaoke Revolution (2003) game is the only one that allows the players to add earrings on both male and female characters.
The downloadable songs from the first Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore (2008) can also be used for this Karaoke Revolution (2003) sequel for the players who own the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions.
Some of the newest downloadable songs are the default songs found in the previous Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore (2008) while the other downloadable songs are brand new for downloads although they're previous from the past Karaoke Revolution (2003) series.
This is the first Karaoke Revolution (2003) to also support Spanish and French language settings in the game's main menu and description when the player changes the language settings in the system's dashboard. The lyrics during the game however, remains unchanged in English.
