Alice Cruse, a Forensic Scientist Intern from the Los Angeles Crime Scene Investigation Division surveys a hillside in the infamous Hollywood Hills. She graduated at the top of her class and uses her intuition to help her pinpoint a specific area of the ground, where she feels strong energy and a trait she learned as a child and part of her Mexican culture. Art Bradberry, the Forensic Evidence Photographer takes photos around the site she is examining and tells her he will never understand her culture as their conversation is cut short when Dr. Abby Knight, an experienced Crime Scene Investigator, puts gloves on and goes directly to Alice who is also an assistant to her during her internship. Dr. Knight is serious, by the book and only believes in science, but Alice's premonition ends up finding the evidence they need for a murdered female victim to officially call it a crime scene.
