A film with not the worst story that I have ever seen and not the worst acting that I have ever seen, it was lame; but, not as terrible as it could have been. Probably the worst thing about it is the fact that it was so damned predictable. That made it boring. And nothing is worse than boring.

Cure for Insomnia

Sleep paralysis would be hella scary - but it's merely an annoyance in this flick. Sapped by bad acting and effects, this horror didn't have much of a chance.

Really Terrifying

The acting was somewhat terrible, but the horror was actually really really good. Several parts I was absolutely terrified. The creepy music really added to it. It reminded me of the person from Ingenious

Good story and music

I really enjoyed this film but the acting is off-putting at times. It reminded me of 'A Dark Song' and Insidious so if you enjoy either of these films check this out.

This was very interesting. I felt like it dove into sleep paralysis, but also an unwanted lucid dream. I am team carl all the way, but frank did a decent job in this movie. The acting is sometimes off for me, I don't really know why. However, It's a good movie and recommend to people who don't want to sleep at night ;]

The movie honestly gave me the creeps I can't imagine being a sleep and I'm awakened by a demon who is red and super scary !!!! This movie is so interesting I love it !!!!! Highly recommend it.

This film was so good!! In my opinion it was more of a psychological thriller!! It made you question what was real and what wasn't multiple times which I feel like, is the whole point of a "psychological thriller." It was a very tasteful film that had a bit of romance but it didn't over take the horror aspect of the film. Overall I'd have to say this is one of my favorite DBS films! 10/10 recommendation!

Suspenseful

This is definitely one of my top movies by DBS Films. The demon Frank and her sister in her nightmares definitely added to the suspense. In some of the nightmares I wasn't sure if it were real or not- for example when he had his hand in the husband's chest, I thought for sure he was gonna die when she woke. The ending also added the cliffhanger space to make a sequel to the movie, which I'd love to see!

Loved this movie! If you like indie films and being scared by the realm between sleep and wake, this one's for you! This was really well done and had some awesome scares. It also has one of my favorite movie demons! I wish they'd given more backstory and lore on him, I'd love to know his story.

You will NOT regret watching this. Extremely impressed with the work done in this film especially for an indie film company. The topics in this movie are extremely interesting for a horror movie and I was left jumping in my seat.

I'm gonna be honest anything that changes when or if I can sleep is instantly terrifying to me. Script was well made, executed beautifully and the acting really is great. Another movie given plenty of effort and I am thankful.

This movie was one of my favorites! Sleep paralysis and night terrors are a real thing and mixing that with the paranormal makes this a great film. The ending leaves you guessing and the movie itself is open for interpretation. This movie could absolutely have a sequel or series with Frank the Sleep Demon. He gives off a Freddy Kruger vibe but with cultural ties. I love it.

Im gonna say it, I would love to see a part 2 it was really good all in all. Some of the scenes were a little choppy but it was good. Loved the plot and how it was like a sleep demon who makes you wanna off yourself. Overall I give it an 8/10 because again I want more I wish it were longer.

Amazing movie

LOVED IT. The cinematography is probably my favorite in this film, its amazing. AND THAT FIRST JUMPSCARE GOT ME LOL. I understood the plot and loved the plot twist at the end. The actors were really good and frank was amazing to! Some scenes leave you on your toes which is great in a horror movie! It's cool to see the movie also sort of bring awareness to sleep paralysis, which I don't have, but others may relate to. Great movie!

My Sleep Is Disrupted

This film had me terrified to sleep for a few nights after I watched it until I realized that it was just a movie and not real. Although, some people actually suffer from a sleeping disorder due to nightmares from something that haunts them in their dreams. There was a scene in this film that almost actually made me throw up because of what was happening during that scene, but the graphics where absolutely amazing! I believe the devil is real, but I don't necessarily believe that he haunts or terrifies people in their sleep. I absolutely loved this film and have watched it about 6 times already!

The scary scenes had me on the Edge of my seat. Love every single movie. The scenery and actors were on point. I loved following the plot and getting immersed in the suspense on this movie. Absolutely love it <3.

I love love love this movie. Acting isn't the best but the idea behind the movie is so worth it to keep watching. The idea is top notch for sure. Right away I was hooked and wanted to know what it was.... I need more Demon Frank!

I thought this was very suspenseful which I love. The lead actress I thought did a great job and I believe her. It had jump scares which kept me more interested. At the end it kept me guessing what happened to the couple which might be a continuing story if the director wants to do that. The music was creepy...same settling as the creepy Insidious music. I know people experience sleep paralysis and I just hope that I never experience it cuz it truly looks terrifying. The only negative comment I would say it some of it was dark that couldn't really see to well but other than that it was a great film and wasn't slow at all.

I can not get enough of this movie it's my #1 go to dbs film from the best cliff hanger at the end. I absolutely love this movie. If you love a horror mystery with a demon this is for you. The music and effects tie in everything for me.

Great movie. It is great. It is one of my fav movie from this industry. It had amazing jump scares. The actors were amazing and they did a phenomenal job. I love the scenery and all camera shots. I definitely recommend watching this movie. You will not regret it.
