Now don't you wait or hesitate

Such a well done series, really every facet is excellent. Every single actor shines, the writing and direction are all fantastic. All aspects of the production are excellent, particularly the editing and pacing. So many similar series(dramatized non-fiction?) become drawn out and muddled, the best part of The Offer is simply how well paced and put together it is. Miles Teller and Matthew Goode are obviously excellent, but Juno Temple really steals every scene she is in. Not sure how much play this series will get during awards season, feels like it's flying under the radar, but I really hope Ms. Temple gets some love for this role.

Surprised I enjoyed this series as much as I did, it really is excellent.

Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

Incredible ending to an incredible series that is sure to grow more legs over time.

The only thing I didn't like is that they took some creative liberties in regards to certain characters that had nothing to do with how events actually transpired but all 'true' stories do this. I can overlook it even if it is ironic when a large part of the theme of this show is "taking risks". Let's hope Hollywood remembers what that means again.

I'm feeling generous, and I'm glad Robert Evans is finally getting his due. I wish it was sooner we might have some better movies right now.

10 out of 10.

Dear "The Offer", you're a class act, bubbe!

I bow to the creators of this series. And to everyone in front of and behind the scenes of "The Offer". They managed to create a more than valiant addition to the legacy of one of the best movies ever made!

Everyone on screen shines and the entire cast has done justice to the real-life people. The tremendous scene-stealer Matthew Goode amazingly manages to take it even a notch further in this last episode. If he doesn't win every single award possible, he will be robbed.

Also, if you haven't been watching the post-credit behind the scenes of "The Offer's" behind the scenes, you're missing out ... big-time! This last one, accompanied by Mychael Danna's wonderful score from "Moneyball (2011)" is the final nail in the coffin to one of the best mini-series I have ever seen.

Salut!

The Longest Yard

I had forgotten that the Oscars snubbed Coppola for Best Director. Absurd. Also, they made a big deal of playing up Ruddy's independence in turning down 'The Godfather: Part Two' for 'The Longest Yard.' Well, there's being independent and then there's abject stupidity. Many people think the sequel is better than the original, although I give the nod to The Godfather, not Part Two, but to walk away from that to do a successful and popular comedy was walking away from history and back-to-back Oscars. Evans told him, do that movie later. Evans was right.

Speaking of Evans, Matthew Goode just grabbed that character by the stones and dominated the series. I enjoyed this series immensely.
