What a cracking short

Warning: Spoilers
I had the opportunity to see this film before it was put into festivals. It was a brilliant, explicit look at the political and social views in modern day USA.

I felt the cast really took on the roles amazingly during a time where the world was at an absolute standstill pretty much bringing to a stop the film industry. Jordyn is beautifully talented within this art that when she brought this to screen it resonated with me in such a way I wish that it was way longer.

The musical numbers were catchy, the dancing was on point and so well choreographed, kudos to every single person involved. No matter your political view this at least should open your eyes.

Stop going backwards, we need to go forward.

Risk and Reward. Communication is everything.

I think this short film is fascinating. Not only is this film daring in its political nature, but it asks the question, can two people with apposing views actually get alone, and maybe even fall in love? Not without communication. Using song a dance, in only a short period, this film illustrates how nothing can move forward without having a real conversation. People are born and raised differently all over the world, each with their own views. I remember, never meaning harm to anyone, saying things people found offensive in my upbringing, and learning through tough but good conversation why what I was saying was harmful. Without people like the characters represented in this short film, people would never learn about each other and our world would never collaborate to achieve anything. This film share's an exaggerated situation where it's easy to understand why bottling things up would just make things worse, love cannot start with denial and uncertainty.

Narrow-minded and one-sided

Oh, wow, um, where do I even begin with this movie? I suppose I could tell you how I heard of it, like most people I heard about this movie from an internet reviewer. I honestly would've never heard of this film either, probably would have never seen it. Now I knew this movie was going to be bad, but I HAD NO IDEA! I think it's one of those movies that had to be handled in clips because I cannot tell you all the safety precautions you should take before watching this movie.

I cannot even describe how this movie is bad. The acting is like the actors are literally reading the script for the first time. The male lead (a poor man's Miles Teller) and his acting, I don't know if there's a word for how bad it is so we'll just say it's "aguwaba", also it seems his dialog is forced. The female, of course, is just perfect and the type that everyone should love. Yeah, right. The male is made to look like a goofball. Take that for what you will.

I can see why this could only have been made during Covid, because the actors had no other options and it was a chance for them to be relevant. This movie is just incredible that it was made, I didn't think it was possible to make a film so bad. It's like it's a new genre, just a bad movie. The script, story, characters, editing and everything is just wrong about this film.

It was not made with good intentions. Stay way.

1/10.
