- Beginning of the journey in Abondance: on a snowy mountain Jérôme meets Jean-Yves Fredriksen, a mountain guide and they make a paragliding flight to the the village of Abondance: they visit the church (Notre-Dame d'Abondance built in the 13th century) and the monastery (in the 15th century all the grounds of the valley were managed by the 30-40 monks of the abbey).Then they go to the farm of Guerin Boulais (Abondance cows): they visit the stable and taste the Abondance cheese.Later they go to the Lac des Plagnes and enjoy skating on the ice:finally they eat melted cheese and drink white wine. After that Jérôme is at Sixt-Fer à cheval where he meets a folkloric dance group : Yoan Mogenier, the carpenter explains that the commune has 10 hamlet and invites to walk with snowshoes to the hamlet of the Canelet: Yoan explains him that the farmers move in the summer to the Alpine pastures (transhumance): they walk a little more and reach the chalet of Yoan and Aude (his wife): the chalet has solar panels: in the night Jérôme and the family eat fondue. After that Jérôme is at Praz-sur-Arly: Gérard Issartel invites him for a hot balloon flight (a nice sight over Praz, Megève et the Mont-Blanc).on the next day Jérôme is at Avoriaz : Marie Baud manages a horse-drawn carriage, they cross the resort and Jérôme arrives at the restaurant "La Cachette": Marion Woehl receives him, her husband Florent is preparing a cheese fondue and Marion and Jérôme will deliver this fondue.After that Jérôme is at Vallorcine (Café du comptoir): Nathalie Berguerand receives him and her husband Thierry Berguerand shows his ski collection : walk through the village (story of the railway station) and visit of the store of Denise Rey (animals made with recovered materials).Later Jérôme is on the slope of a mountain and is dressed like a skier of the sixties: Michèle Jacot, the unique French woman who won the Skiing World Cup in 1970 is also present: then they go down the slope in the slalom way. Besides we see zooms about the ski mountaineering , about Claude Chambel and Nicolas Collet, about the photographer Aurore Legay in Yvoire, about Matthieu Dufflos, the fisherman and Jean-Loïc the jeweler, about the pilot Diane Farah, about the bellmaker Philippe Paccard, about about the reblochon cheese, about the sled race Savoie-Mont-Blanc, and about the paret and the alphorns.—zutterjp48
